Select ''Create Artist'', type the name of the artist, select the default group and click on create artist.

You can also create a new artist using the create tour tab:

Select 'Create Tour' or 'Edit Tour' from the left menu, then click the Artist drop down below Tour Name. 

Select an existing artist or click 'Create New.'

Add the artist name, select a team and click Create Artist.
