Cloning copies a booking into a completely independent new booking with its own contract, invoices and terms. It's the right tool when you need the same deal on another date, or another contract for the same buyer.
Once you've created and added details to your first booking, you will have the ability to clone by simply going to the 'Buyer' tab and clicking the 'Clone' button.
The system will then prompt you to select the fields you need to clone, change the date/time and buyer/venue before saving the new booking. You can do this as many times as needed.
Step-by-step checklist
Because a clone touches two bookings at once, work through it in order and confirm each step before moving on. In particular, don't generate a contract until you're certain the clone finished.
Open the booking you want to copy and go to the Buyer tab.
Click Clone and wait for the new booking to finish opening. Don't navigate away or click Clone a second time while it's working.
On the clone, change the date, venue and any terms that differ, then save.
Go back to your bookings list or calendar and confirm that both bookings are there, with the right artist and the right date on each.
Only once you've confirmed both, generate contracts, offers or invoices from each booking's own tabs.
If the original booking has gone
If after cloning the original booking is missing, or the date you cloned from now shows the clone's details, stop. Don't rebuild it and don't clone again yet — start a chat from the messenger.
Tell us the artist and date of the original, the artist and date you used for the clone, and whether you'd already generated a contract. We'll confirm what happened to the original before anything else is changed. If it does need recreating, we'll walk you through cloning again cleanly and uploading the contract that was already issued onto the recovered booking, so the signed document isn't lost.
Good to know
Make your edits to the clone before saving it, not after. A clone that's saved with the original's date and then edited is harder to tell apart in a list.
The clone doesn't inherit the original's contract, signatures or invoices — those are generated fresh. That's deliberate, and it's why cloning is the way to get a second contract for the same buyer.
