Logisticians play a key role in event production, focusing on logistics, scheduling, and the overall execution of confirmed events. Their access within the platform is specifically designed to support operational needs while limiting visibility into sensitive booking or financial information.
Logistician Role
Logisticians can view all confirmed booking details as well as any bookings to which they have been directly assigned. Their view in the Events tab is intentionally limited to the Summary, Basic, Schedule, and Tickets & Merch sections. From there, they are able to edit the event’s Schedule, Tickets & Merch, most production details for the event are included within those tabs. This allows them to manage essential event details without access to financial or contractual data.
In the Itinerary tab, Logisticians can view and edit the complete itinerary for an event. They can also create and send itineraries, itinerary requests, and day sheets—ensuring that everyone involved in the event has up-to-date logistical information. However, they do not have access to the agent or buyer conversation within the system, keeping those communications private to booking and sales personnel.
If Tasks are enabled in the account, Logisticians can also access the Tasks tab. Their visibility here is limited to tasks they have created themselves or tasks to which they have been assigned, helping them stay organized without being overwhelmed by unrelated information.
Customizing the Views
All views in Gigwell are customizable. You can modify permissions and access levels for each role to best fit your team's needs, including customizing the Summary View. This allows you to add or remove fields such as fees, contacts, event details, logistics phrases, schedules, contacts, and more, providing a tailored experience for each role.
How to Assign Roles
1. Navigate to the Manage Members section in Gigwell.
2. Select the team member you wish to assign a role to.
3. Choose Roles and select either Marketing or Logistician from the role options.
4. Save your changes.

- These roles are designed to provide targeted access, ensuring team members see only what they need for their responsibilities.
