Creating a Booking
You can create a booking from your Dashboard in a few clicks. Only a handful of details are required to get started; everything else can be added later as the booking moves through the pipeline.
Step 1: Start a New Booking
From your Dashboard, click New Booking.
Select a deal type (for example, a flat guarantee or a versus deal).
Choose the artist and enter the guarantee amount.
Select the currency. You can enable as many currencies as your agency needs.
Set the event date.
Step 2: Set the Buyer, Venue, and Presenter
When the buyer is the venue
Leave the Buyer is Venue toggle on when the person who reached out to you is booking the artist for their own venue. You only need to select the venue.
When an independent presenter or promoter is booking
Turn the Buyer is Venue toggle off. The form splits into two fields so you can enter the venue (for example, The Roxy Theatre) and the presenter or promoter company separately.
Step 3: Create the Booking
Click Create. The booking appears on your Dashboard in the Terms stage of the sales pipeline, with a short summary of the artist, date, venue, and buyer contact.
What Happens Next
Open the booking to continue. The tabs on the left are ordered to follow the booking from start to finish, and the tabs across the top of each section go from left to right. Work through them top to bottom, left to right: communicate with the buyer and artist, complete the terms, add event details, then generate the contract and invoices.
