Venue roster settings: booking access and how venue cards look

Find the settings that control access to bookings at your venues, and choose how venue cards look for your whole team.

Written by Antonio Sierra

Roster Settings for your venue roster cover two things: who on your team can see and edit bookings at your venues, and how venue cards look on the Venues page. These settings apply to your whole organization.

Open Roster Settings

  1. Click Venues in the top menu.

  2. Click ⋮ at the top right, then Roster Settings. You can also open Manage Roster and click MANAGE SETTINGS.

  3. Make your changes and click SAVE. Changed your mind before saving? Click Reset or CANCEL.

Access switches

The ROSTER SETTINGS section has these switches:

  • Show inactive venues by default

  • Buyers can manage assignments

  • Only assigned members can view bookings

  • Buyers and Assistants can view restricted bookings through 'Show Booking' in Calendar Stream/View

  • Buyers and Assistants can edit restricted bookings

These venue switches are separate from the ones on your artist roster, so you can restrict venues without restricting artists, or the other way round.

Setting up who can see which venues? Message us from the chat bubble or email support@gigwell.com, and our support team will help you set up restrictions for your team.

Choose how venue cards look

The ROSTER PAGE section changes the Venues page for everyone in your organization, not just for you.

  1. Under Look, choose CARDS or CIRCLES (the classic view).

  2. Under Card lines, switch on the details you want under each venue's name: Capacity, Location and Tags. You can show up to 3.

  3. Drag the lines into the order you want. The preview shows how a card will look.

  4. Click SAVE.
