Once your AI assistant is connected to Gigwell MCP, you can get instant answers from your own bookings, calendar, invoices, settlements, expenses and tasks, and use them to make better decisions about your roster. Not connected yet? Start with AI Connect: Gigwell MCP and API access.
Tips for better answers
Name the connector the first time, e.g. "Using Gigwell MCP, …", so the assistant knows to use your Gigwell data.
Be specific about the date range, currency, artist, agent or status you care about. Swap in your own details wherever you see [brackets].
Ask follow-ups in plain language: "now break that down by quarter", "only confirmed shows", "which agent handled that one?"
Ask for a table or a file when you need to share it: "put that in a table I can paste into a spreadsheet".
Check before you act. If a number looks off, ask "which report and filters did you use?" Gigwell MCP is read-only, so the assistant can analyze your data but can't change anything in Gigwell.

Conferences and meetings
Heading to a conference or meeting a venue, promoter or another agency? Let the assistant build your prep pack from your Gigwell history.
I'm meeting [venue / promoter] next week. Give me a full overview of our history with them: shows, artists, revenue, average guarantee, how settlements went and whether they pay on time.
Based on that history, which artists on my roster should I pitch to [venue / promoter], and why? Suggest dates where those artists are free and routing makes sense.
I'm going to [conference] in [city]. Which buyers and venues in [country / region] have we worked with most, and which ones have we not booked in over a year?
Build a one-page brief for each buyer I'm meeting at [conference]: past shows, revenue, open offers, unpaid balances and suggested artists to pitch.
I'm meeting [agency] about co-agenting or support slots. Summarize which of my artists fit their markets and where we could route shows together.
Create a short roster one-pager for [region / genre]: each artist's recent shows, typical fee range, strongest markets and open dates over the next three months, so I can share talking points in meetings.
After the conference: turn my notes into follow-up emails for each contact, with the artists and dates we discussed.

Library 3: Combine Gigwell with your other tools
Many tools have their own connectors for Claude and ChatGPT. Connect them alongside Gigwell MCP and the assistant can work across both. Gigwell MCP is read-only, so the assistant reads from Gigwell and writes to the other tool (if that tool allows it).
QuickBooks: "Create QuickBooks invoices for this month's confirmed Gigwell bookings." "Which Gigwell payments haven't been recorded in QuickBooks yet?"
Xero: "Compare this month's sales invoices in Xero with my Gigwell invoices and flag any that don't match, including voided ones." A good one to run weekly before closing receivables.
Email drafts: "Draft a friendly payment reminder for each buyer with an overdue balance, including the invoice number and amount." "Draft a reply to this offer listing [Artist A]'s open dates in [month]." Review and send them yourself.
