Assets are files you keep on an artist or a venue, such as riders, stage plots, logos, contracts and tax forms. Store them once, and they're ready to attach to any booking with that artist or venue.
General and Legal assets
Each artist and venue has two sections:
General Assets: promotional and technical files used to present or advance a show, such as press kits, photos, logos, stage plots and technical riders.
Legal Assets: administrative and compliance documents, such as contracts, tax forms (for example W-9, W-8 or W-2) and other required paperwork. Legal assets are private and never appear on public profiles.
Find an artist's or venue's assets
In the top menu, click Venues or Artists. If your account doesn't have the venue roster, click Roster.
Click the venue or artist to open its page.
Click Assets in the sidebar.
Shortcut: click ⋮ on the card and choose Assets.
Don't see the Assets tab? Contact support@gigwell.com.
Upload assets
Open the General Assets or Legal Assets tab.
Click Select or Drop Assets and choose files from your computer, or drag files onto the area.
Changes to assets save right away. There's no Save button to click.
Attach saved assets to a booking
You can add an artist's or venue's assets anywhere you add attachments on a booking: messages and emails, contracts, document packets, tax documents and summary view documents.
On the booking, click Add Attachments.
Open the ASSETS tab. The number next to it shows how many assets are available.
Assets are grouped by each artist and venue on the booking, and split into General and Legal. Tick the files you need. Nothing is ticked for you.
Click ADD SELECTED.
If the artists and venues on the booking don't have any assets yet, the tab shows No roster assets on this booking.
Don't see the ASSETS tab on a booking? Only the team members assigned to the booking see it, so ask to be added to the booking. If you're on the booking and still don't see it, contact support@gigwell.com.
For more on the Add Attachments dialog, see Attachments.
Tips
Use clear file names so teammates can find the right version quickly.
Keep one current version of each recurring document (for example Tech Rider or Stage Plot) and delete outdated files.
PDF, JPG and PNG files are the easiest to preview and share.
FAQ
