This is the most common report there is — every booking for a particular agent or artist across a date range. It's built with the filters in the top right of the report screen.
Run the report
Go to the Reports tab.
Pick your report type. Use Bookings for deal-level data such as fees and terms, or Events for show-level data such as advancing and logistics.
Click Create New Report.
In the top right, set the date range to the period you want.
Still in the filters, set the agent, the artist, or both. You can also filter by status if you only want confirmed work.
Open the gear icon and choose Manager/Filters to add the columns you want to see.
Click Create Report.
Download the output as PDF or CSV, or save the report so you can re-run it later.
If your results look wrong
If fewer rows come back than you expect, clear every filter and run it again. That tells you straight away whether rows are missing because something is filtered out or for another reason — and nine times out of ten it's a filter.
Things worth double-checking:
The date range. Check it covers the event dates you're thinking of, and remember a booking's event date can sit well outside the month it was signed in.
The status filter. If it's set, anything tentative or cancelled drops out.
Whether you're on the right report type. A show that exists as an event won't necessarily appear the way you expect in a deal-level report, and the other way round.
Good to know
Filtering by agent gives you one agent's book of business, which is the usual starting point for commission and performance reviews.
Save the report once it's right. Next month you change the date range and re-run it rather than rebuilding the whole thing.
If you want the results in date order, set your date column to Date Short (YYYY-MM-DD) under Manager/Filters before you sort. See the article on date columns sorting in the wrong order.
